THIS OLD PUP IS EXCITED TO LEARN NEW TRICKS!

I have a confession to make.

Just as I am encouraging you to let go and let it be, I’m making a significant change in my life – challenging myself to launch something big and new in my business. And I am stressed.

That brings up my edginess, tension, discomfort and serious nature. All while I am “supposed” to be enjoying summer and taking days off with dear friends.

I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT MY WORK AND GENERALLY CAPABLE – SO WHY THE OVERWHELM?

If you knew my age, you’d know!

  • Changing my technology stack (and moving to a new platform)
  • Creating new programs (and sharing new stuff with you!)
  • Launching new programs virtually with automation features (eeek!)
  • Working with a new virtual doer (I guess we’ll just train each other!)

I hope you’re laughing out loud – with me! I am totally excited, psyched and eager to do all these things. I really enjoy taking on a challenge (and this one seems epic).

I think I can. I think I can. I think I can,” said the little engine that could. I can do this, no doubt.

BUT DON’T YOU EVER WANT TO CLONE YOURSELF TO DIVIDE AND CONQUER?

The thing is that my age doesn’t matter. I am capable and I’m up for it. So what’s the real issue – and why am I edgy? Yep, it always comes down to me, my thoughts about the situation. The truth?

I don’t dance as fast as I used to!

There, I said it. It’s taking longer than I want it to. (Translation: it’s taking me longer than I think it should or want it to.)

For this formerly fiercely independent career girl, this is a big gulp of self-acceptance. Thank you, and I’ll take mine with a side of laughter and some help!

By the way – journaling, blogging and laughing out loud are medicine to me. I already feel better!

Ladies, we are who we are. We are where we are. Yet nothing has to stay like this. Check-in with yourself:

DO YOU LIKE WHO YOU ARE, WHERE YOU ARE, WHOM YOU’RE WITH, AND WHAT YOU’RE DOING?

Though you may experience a little overwhelm when you decide to choose the path to YOUR North Star - it’s so worth it. For you movie lovers, remember in “Something’s Gotta Give” when [no spoiler alert] Diane Keaton is admitting to Amanda Peet that risking it all is worth every bit of pain.

If you struggle with literally anything in this blog post, please book a time with meYou deserve to thrive! YOU loving YOUR life is worth every bit of growth work it’ll take to get there – but, get there, you will!

I’m going for it – won’t you join me?!
